Music has always been a big part of my life. It was a factor when I first met or rather heard Mark.
I have been married to Mark’s Dad for 10 years now. But it was before Lynn and I married when my first memory of Mark happened.
I was working at the Oasis restaurant in Farmersburg. Each Thursday a group of people would come in play and sing while people were eating. Lynn was part of that group.
One night, his Dad got Mark to stop by and listen and eat. Once there Lynn cajoled Mark to sing a couple of songs. It was then I heard the voice of the man who would become my step-son.
I remember standing back at the kitchen door listening and joining in harmonizing with Mark. All I could think about was how I wanted to sing in harmony with his voice.
And now you know my fondest memory of Mark.
When Mark returned from the Desert two years ago with Chooey in tow, that face and personality shot an arrow in my heart. Chooey is my fur grand baby.
